1966 Impala 4-door Hardtop

Description for Chevrolet Impala 1966

Up for sale is my toy. I've had the pleasure of owning this 4-door hardtop the past 5 years. My goal was to keep it running and on the street, so no major "work" has been done during my time. I've otherwise upgraded to power disc all around (my only "upgrade"), as well as replaced the carb, fuel pump, alternator, and rear main seal (everything needed to keep her on the road). I'm including all the misc. goodies I've accumulated for the car (set of bulbs and fuses, as well as complete set of weather stripping for the car - a $500 value).
As a 40+ yr old car, this one shows it's age. There is rust on the corners around wheel wells, some bubbling up on drivers door, and along the back window (which seems to be the worst of it). Due to rusting at back window, the window leaked and ruined the back shelf. Interior is about the same, some good, some bad. The bad, seats show wears & tears. Radio and clock don't work. Wiper motor works, but fluid pump does not. Most everything else works.
Paint is as when I purchased. Drivers side is quite interesting.
I used the car for my own enjoyment. Took it out on nice days, locally driven only. No show queen, but nice driver/project.
The rear tires were over sized when I bought it, and the gears were sized to match. However, I wanted "stock look" and as such, the gearing is not right for highway driving (I believe diff gears are 3.55, but don't recall for certain).

Has non-original 327 with 3-speed auto (originally had 283 with 2-speed auto). The car can be driven as is, or fixed up to your liking. I have upwards of $8000 in car (out of pocket, not "my time") and would honestly keep the car if I had the space and $ to do so (I just want the track car more right now).
