Up for sale we have a 1969 Chevy Camaro Z28. This is a true X33 code Z28 that was bought new at Volunteer Chevrolet in Sevierville, TN. The gentleman we bought the car from had purchased it from the original owners and had it restored. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Camaro. The body on this Camaro is straight with excellent gaps all around. Looking down the sides you'll notice the doors have an excellent fit as well. It comes with the 2" Steel Cowl hood along with the front and rear spoilers. The body is covered in the LeMans Blue Paint, which is the factory color for this '69. It's accented by the white stripes that are buried in the clear. At the time of the resto new bumpers were installed and they still look excellent. The rest of the chrome and stainless is in great condition as well with only minor imperfections. As for the glass, it looks to be factory except for the windshield which has been replaced at some time. To complete the look on this '69 it's sitting on a set of 15" Rallyes with rings, flat caps, and BFG Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Z/28. On the inside, it's done in the classic black which is an excellent complement to the exterior. It features Bucket seats, that have been recovered, as well as a Console with Hurst Shifter and Gauges! The door panels, headliner and carpet are all in excellent condition and appear to have also been replaced at the time of the resto. Looking at the dash it has the Tach that is working along with the Speedo. It also comes with the Rosewood wheel and the woodgrain accent in the dash and console.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it features the 302 Engine that's set up with the Aluminum Snow Flake Intake along with a 3923289-DZ Holley Carb. It's mated to the Muncie Four Speed Trans and the 12 Bolt Rear with 3.23 gears. For exhaust, it has manifolds with dual pipes and stock style mufflers. This Z/28 has factory Power steering and Power Brakes with Disc on the front. When you look under this Camaro everything appears to be solid from the frame to the floors. It has had the front floors replaced and they did a great job on the installation.
