This is one BAD ASS 1958 Chevy Apache step side truck with air ride suspension (Shockwaves) with dual switches F/R. The front end slams an inch from the ground!! Very strong 396 BIG BLOCK. ceramic coated headers. Eldebrock intake under a Don Garlitts N600 Fuel Injection Air intake with a Demon 850 carb. Rebuilt TH400 trans. Ford 9” narrowed rear w/Moser axles and drum brakes. custom made Billet Specialties wheels. 15x15 and 15x8 with very FAT MT tires. dropped front spindles with disc brakes. The newly painted interior (down to metal and painted with flat silver) has a chrome custom tilt steering column w/vintage SS steering wheel. bad ass Brian Kilduff lightning rod shifter. custom dash w/push to start and battery kill switch. dual compressor switches. custom gauges. and newly covered bench w/seat belts. All new wiring harness with very bright “under the truck” reverse lights. Push and pull electric fans to help keep this big motor cool on the hottest summer days. The body is in excellent condition. This truck had very little rust and what it had was replaced with steel. The bed was removed and totally rebuilt with rolled stamped steel completely welded as one unit for strength. It’s as solid as you can make it and was sprayed with bed liner so it will last forever. It has a custom made locking tool box which houses the fuel cell. new Optima Red top battery. air tank. compressors. solenoids and switches. I’m not in to shiny paint jobs and love the look it has now. so if you don’t like it paint it! All new door seals and glass and the windshield is in excellent condition with no scratches or cracks. This truck is very fast and is a tribute to old school drag racing with custom made wheelie bars that raise and lower with the air suspension. the rear goes up they go down and visa versa. Built as a driver with power steering and power brakes and gets a TON of attention wherever it goes.
