This is absolutely the best Nova that I have ever had (and there have been many)… and honestly probably the best overall car that we have had. As I write this; I am a little reluctant because this Nova is a real keeper and my favorite car yet! The paint & body is absolutely high-end show quality with the best fitting doors and gaps and as good as it gets. When you shut the doors it is that solid perfect fit sound that you want. The PPG true white basecoat clear coat paint is as slick as glass and the body is as straight as a gun barrel down the sides. The stance on the car is perfect. The front glass and rubber is new with the all the rest being original and excellent. The chrome. trim. and bright work are all perfect show quality (most original trim & molding restored). The wheels are polished American Racing with 185/65R15’s front and 28x12. 00R15’s rear…Mickey Thompson Radials.  All of the sheet metal is original except for the hood and the two front fenders. The hood is a custom steel hood with fiberglass scoop. (Undetectable from the top. looks awesome) The engine and drivetrain are the best of the best and the car rides. drives. runs. and performs as such! I could really go into a lot of detail on the engine. transmission. rear end. suspension and everything because I do have ALL of the information and details…however I will just go into the big stuff and if you have any additional questions do not hesitate to call and I will be more than happy to look it up for you. Starting with the power plant is a “Limited Edition” Motown (Bill Mitchell) 454 Street Small Block Chevy crate motor producing a Dyno 610 horsepower at 6000 rpm’s and 591 lbs of torque at 4700 rpm’s. The fuel used for the dyno was 91 octane pump gas! The dyno was run with 15w40 oil. The block is a Motown cast iron block (9. 025”deck height. 4-bolt main) with Motown Lite aluminum cylinder heads. The engine has cast iron billet caps. Eagle 4340 crankshaft. Eagle H-Beam connecting rods. Manley Pistons (Mahle coated). Total Seal rings. Clevite H-Bearings. Hardcore solid roller lifter camshaft (cam card in hand). Racemaster Severe Duty valves (2. 080” intake. 1. 600” exhaust). Hardcore valve springs. Manley retainers. Manley Valve Locks. Hardcore valve seals. Manley Rocker Arm Studs. Hardcore 4340 1 pc pushrods. Hardcore guide plates. Scorpion aluminum roller rocker arms. Milodon/Canton oil pan. Melling oil pump. stainless hardware components. and a Motown single plane intake manifold. The carburetor is a Quick Fuel 880cfm with electric choke and a Lokar Performance throttle cable. It has a Powermaster Platinum Pro starter. Reliability is one of the important attributes of the hot “Limited Edition” engines from World Products. It has proven its durability on the Hot Rod magazine Power Tour and other cruises. The secret to getting major horsepower with excellent reliability is cubic inches! Under the hood is neat and show quality with a smooth firewall and fender wells painted as slick as the outside of the car. Most all wires are hidden and the 2 1/8 Hooker Super Comp headers look awesome like a spiders arms coming off the block with custom stainless header/firewall accommodations. It has a new Goodmark radiator support and a new polished aluminum radiator. The hood hinges and hood catch are powder coated and the engine bay is very detailed as you will see in the pictures. The transmission is a new M22 close ratio with heat treated gears from T&B Transmissions in Spokane WA. This Nova has a Hayes flywheel. Zoom clutch. and a Lakewood safety bellhousing. The clutch feels awesome firm and tight and the M22 transmission is pure joy to shift! The rear end is a 12-Bolt posi with 3. 73 gears and Strange axles. It has been mini-tubbed.   The ride and handling is absolutely dialed in and it’s the best. This happens because the suspension is all brand new and top of the line from the best names in the industry for performance and technology. The entire front end is new from CPP steering. brake. and suspension specialists. It includes new CPP performance passenger control arm. cross member. driver control arm. wheel alignment cam kit. lock out plates. tubular upper and lower control arms. ball joints. drop spindles. poly tie rod boots. braided hoses and stainless brake lines. manual steer idler arm. idler arm bearing kit. inner & outer tie rod ends. heavy duty tie rod adjustment sleeve. manual steer pitman arm. and new front coil springs. The steering is from Flaming River including 16:1 ratio gear box and Flaming River steering column. The brakes are “Force 10” from SSBC (all stainless) and all 4 wheels. The rear has a split mono leaf system and CalTracs bars from Calvert Racing Suspensions with QA1 coil over shocks. Other notable performance parts are complete Painless Performance Products wiring. Holley billet aluminum fuel pump. Mallory 2-port fuel pressure regulators. MSD Pro billet distributor. and an awesome sounding 3” exhaust split system with Flowmaster mufflers. The Interior is custom designed and finished very tastefully with a powder coated roll cage and full finished rear back seat. The rear windows roll up and down with ease as well as the front windows. The front bucket seats are Pro Car with Simpson belts. The door panels. kick panels and headliner are new and the carpet and Nova SS floor mats. The steering column is tilt. It has a Hurst shifter with new shifter boot. Autogage gauges. billet aluminum Eliminator gas pedal (floor mounted ball milled). stainless throttle cable. Mini-Monster tachometer with shift light. and Fatmat insulation under the carpet and headliner. The horn and all gauges. lights. turn signals all work except the wipers which do not have a wiper motor on the car.
