Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1967
This is not a beginner project. Restoration 90% done. New quarters and all other body panels in excellent condition. Car needs finish body prep and paint, interior, and glass. This car lived it's life for over 20 years as a drag car for the Englishtown NJ Police Dept. I bought it after it was retired so it was completely stripped down. Fortunately, all of the original moldings and interior pieces, lights, etc. were all with the car. I will try to list as much as I can but there really is way too much to list. The car was hoisted in my barn and the front subframe was removed as well as most of the body panels and the underside of the car was blasted and painted. Subframe was also blasted and painted. Underside upgrades to car include subframe connectors, polyurethane body mounts and bushings, new upper and lower control arms with poly bushings. The car has a complete 4 wheel disc brake conversion with stainless steel brake lines. The rear brakes were installed on a 1969 Chevy Nova 10 Bolt completely rebuilt 3:73 Limited slip Posi rear end. The engine is a professionally built 355 CID 1970 LT1 engine that has been modified to well over 400+ HP including a radical camshaft. The engine is connected to the transmission with an 11" Centerforce Clutch/Pressure Plate/and throwout bearing. The transmission is a 1969 Muncie M21 close ratio 4 speed transmission that was professionally rebuilt before I bought it. The engine breathes through a set of headers connected to a flowmaster stainless steel exhaust. I also used stainless steel fuel lines to feed the engine. I added a complete "Painless" wiring system to the car that is 95% finished. It does have a brand new rear glass but the windshield has a few defects. The rest of the glass in the car is original. I have purchased a complete brand new interior kit, door panels, seat upholstery, headliner, side panels, and trim. I do have a complete interior stainless steel hardware kit for the car. Mirrors, door handles windshield wipers, rear light lenses, etc are all brand new. It will not take much to make this a killer show car or daily driver that is also very "Badass". I have so many parts that are brand new I cannot list them. Front and rear sway bars, leaf springs, shocks, tires. The car needs to be seen in person, hear it run, and drive it. It is currently registered and inspected but the 1 thing missing to make it easily driveable right now is the power steering is not set up. All of the steering components are new. The car shakes the ground when running and sounds very impressive. It is listed at for sale locally and I have almost 22,000 into the car and the hundreds of new parts. I easily have over 150/200 hours into working on it and getting it to the point it is at. I have a ton of receipts. I am selling it because it is time for the right person to come along and finish it. Call with serious interest only, no tire kickers here. No test drives unless you are serious about buying it. I will only consider serious offers, not insulting ones. Thanks for reading this book.
