Description for Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1983

Thank you for viewing the auction for my 1983 Chevy Monte Carlo !

This Monte Carlo is currently title, tagge, registered, insured, and driven on a regular basis. It runs very well, shifts solid, rides fantastic and steers correct. Cruises right down the road with no shakes or shimmy.

It has a 305 small block with edlebrock 4 barrel. Turbo 350 trans. Stock rear. Its a great cruiser. Its in good overall mechanical shape. Recent tune up, plugs, wires, oil change and alternator replacement. Cool wheels with almost new tires.

It is heading for front brakes (rotors and pads) as they pulsateduring higher speed braking. As far as rust is concerned the frame and structure are rock solid. There is the typical rust on the bottoms of the doors, but the doors are solid. The right door striker should be replaced (replacement sticker and door pillar are included). Also needs muffler installed (also included). Odometor stop working shortly after I purchased the car and is stuck at 159000.

Interior is average. Seats are comfortable. Dash has a few cracks. Headliner needs replaced. Heat and defrost work properly. AC needs charged. Door panels and window guides need tightening but electric windows function properly.

I am selling this car to help pay for recent purchase of a 1971 charger. This is a no reserve auction with a low $300 starting bid as I need to sell. Whoever wins this auction will get a solid running and driving classic Monte Carlo at a great price.
