Description for Chevrolet C-10 1983
Beautiful Show-Ready Custom Chevy C-10:
Every part of this truck is brand new after a full frame-off restoration with no expense spared.
After complete disassembly, the chassis was sand-blasted down to bare metal. The frame was then modified for the rear step and bag mounts. Once the custom fabrication was done, all chassis parts were powder coated.
In the rear, a 2-link suspension with panhard bar from Extensive Metal Works was fitted. Up front, CPP upper and lower control arms were installed, along with a complete CPP Big Brake kit at all four corners. The booster and master cylinder are a stock style but have been show plated chrome. All lines and flex hoses are stainless steel. All rubber bushings on the truck have been converted to poly. The whole truck rides on 2600-lb bags and a simple 2-way stand-alone air system with ½-inch lines. The air system components are housed inside a chrome, diamond plate toolbox in the truck bed, beneath a rigid locking tonneau cover. The inside of the bed, as well as the underside of the cab and bed have been protected with Line-X coating.
The cab and bed received the same level of attention as the chassis. The cab and bed were fully stripped. The stock gas filler door was shaved, and the rain gutters removed. The truck was then block-sanded to perfection and finished off with a 4-step paint job. After several layers of clear, the truck was reassembled, wet sanded to a show finish, and accented with LED taillights and custom pin striping by renowned artist XXX XXXXX.
The engine bay was treated to the same level of detail as under the truck. Starting with a new blueprinted long block crate motor, we added a show quality intake from Edelbrock and a FiTech fuel injection system to handle fuel delivery. Fuel supply to the throttle body is from an Aeromotive pump housed inside a custom-made fuel cell located under the bed. Hanging on the front of the engine is a completely polished and chromed serpentine system from March. All lines and hoses are stainless or A.N. fittings. Also in the engine bay, you will notice custom-fabricated inner wheel wells that allow this C-10 to air all the way out and still make full lock-to-lock turns.
Inside the cab, you will find the same brand new condition as the rest of the truck, featuring complete custom gauges, a full Vintage Air HVAC system that blows ice cold, an aftermarket sound system that looks like the original radio but is Bluetooth capable, custom shift lever, C-5 Corvette front seats with center console, and the list goes on and on. Fully documented restoration with photos and receipts. Total joy to drive and real head turner.
