Description for Chevrolet Other Pickups 1952
No certificate of title for this truck. It's a 1952 Chevrolet Truck 3100 and I converted it into having the gmc front instead of the original chevrolet front. It was a Plant Ordinance vehicle. What you see in the pictures is what you will get. Its a good truck to work on and if you have the money, to put back on the road. I put new front and rear shock absorbers on it made by gabriel. New bed block mounting kit with new bolts nuts and washers installed already. All the body panels were assembled with new zinc bolts nuts and washers. New hood hinges and bolts, new dome lamp gasket, new rear headliner bow screws. All of the new stuff I ordered from classicparts. I cleaned and then painted the front and back of the frame with por15 in black. The center of the frame still needs to be cleaned and painted under the cab. I put new door hinge bolts on both doors to cab after re threading the bolt holes and cleaning them up. The whole exterior of the truck was cleaned to bare metal including the front gmc parts so when it was put back together it would look as one whole truck and not mix matched parts. I put new mobile1 grease in all the frames grease fittings. I got the chrome horn button off ebay used it does make the steering wheel and inside look better than it did when it didn't have one. The doors are not original, I bought one from a swap meet and its the older model made for the pull down door handle and the other is for this year and model. Both doors were cleaned to bare metal and then i sprayed rustoleum red oxide primer on the insides of both doors. To get the title you would have to apply for a bonded title. So I believe thats the way to go if you ever wanted to put this truck back on the road. It doesn't have a motor or transmission in it, thats the way i bought it. The truck sits on the original frame with the torque tube drive shaft still there. It does move and steer freely. I will help you load it if you bring a winch, come along, tie straps, chains to get it back to your place. Tires on this truck are not road worthy. Message me if you have any questions or want to see it in person before you bid. Cash only for the full payment.
