Description for Chevrolet C-10 1962
Do you actually like to play with your toys?!? How about if you had a dream truck that you could drive every day and enjoy with as little maintenence as it would take to keep a new Silverado on the road? We have the truck you are looking for. Unique color combo, battleship grey and black, has a sinister look when rumbling down the road. The best part is the drivetrain: LS1 5.3 Vortec GM motor with a 5 speed 4L60E transmission. Wheel spinning power and easily fixed by any mechanic you would like to take it to, or in your own garage! And yes, your local parts store will have anything you could ever need for it in stock.
Good Stuff:
-5.3 Vortec with 4L60E 5 speed transmission
-Frame-off restoration, coated frame
-Performance Suspension uprades (KYB Shocks and new springs)
-Corvette Headers
-Posi Rear
-Hidden Bluetooth Radio (must have as a daily driver, itunes/pandora etc.)
-Oak Wood Bed (ready for a stain color of your choice)
-Fresh Interstate Battery
-Power Steering/Brakes
-Upgraded Intake
-Remote Alarm
Those are the highlights, interior is simple yet beautiful. A bluetooth set up is controlled by a toggle on the dash and hits 4 speakers with a sub. Nice system and it was about $3k to buy/install. No smoke/no leaks. New everything! Gas Tank is new/cooling system is new/trim is all new/running gear all new!!!!
This brings us to the body and paint. The grey/black is a perfect tone for this former workhorse. Quality on the panel fit was pretty good, the doors however could use some re-alignment. The paint itself looks like it was rushed through the clearcoat stage and there are a few runs present, which is fixable if you want the perfect show vehicle, but this truck was meant to be driven.
Dont be afraid to take it anywhere! It wont leave you stranded, and if it gets a door ding, so what? Enjoy the ride for a couple decades, when you are ready to repaint, get it all done at once. The hard work has already been done and paid for!! I'd estimate at least $40k worth of parts/labor has gone into this truck so far.
Please take a look at all of our other listing, truck is ready to be seen in Collegeville, PA. Clean PA title. Needs Nothing!
