Factory equipped with the legendry L78. 396/375hp. big block engine. matched to the most desired Muncie 4 speed transmission. (all documented numbers matching with VIN stamp). The car has been professionally restored with attention to detail. The car was repainted to its factory GM paint code 17. Shadow Gray. The car retains all its original sheet metal and complete factory interior. The engine was rebuilt to factory specs in 1995. I have the dyno diagnostics showing 418. 8 hp. @ 5750 RMP. The engine block retains the VIN and factory suffix code stamping (CKO) = 375hp/Manual trans. The rear end is the factory 12 bolt suffix code (CBT) = posi/3. 55 gears. The car has its original block. heads. intake. 780CFM carb. valve covers. core support. radiator. distributor. fan blade. fan shroud. only the alternator has been replaced. Points of interests: The car was ordered with the very rare. F-41 rear suspension sway bar. I've only seen one other L78 car with one and it was ordered as a COPO for drag racing. Documentation: All three owners history. Protect -O- Plate. original finance contract. build sheet. delivery check list. etc. The front and rear suspension is all new. springs. pads. bushing. tie rods. etc. The sub frame was removed. sandblasted and painted to factory specs. Both fuel. brake lines. and all clips and fasteners were replaced. The car retains both the factory two piece front rotors and calipers. All trim and exterior chrome appears to be original to the car and all show extremely nice. The car is very dependable. just turn the key and go. runs incredible and very fast!! I welcome the buyer to arrange an independent inspection of the car. You won't be disappointed in the findings.
