You are looking at a very original, rare and highly collectible 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer CST Highlander.
This Blazer came loaded from the factory with not only the Cheyenne/Custom Sport Truck (CST) option but also the ultra rare Highlander plaid orange interior option!
All of the Blazer's factory installed options are documented on the Service Parts Identification (SPID) tag that is still in tact on the inside of the glove box door. Those options include 4 barrel 350ci V8 engine, automatic transmission, deluxe gauges, AM push button radio, power steering, heavy duty radiator and battery, 3.73 front and rear differential, front locking hubs, skid plate, white removable top, factory tinted glass, Cheyenne equipment package and Orange Highlander package.
This is a very original survivor Blazer. The Blazer retains all of its original interior! The all original interior is date stamped and in excellent condition. The only non original interior parts are the plastic backs on the front bucket seats and the freshly installed ACC carpet kit. Besides that the interior is ALL ORIGINAL! The Blazer also has all of its major original sheetmetal. The only non original sheetmetal is the outer rockers, torque boxes and "B" pillar support brackets. Blazer has no absolutely no rust! The Blazer has been stored in doors since 2001 and driven on sparingly. In the last 17 years the Blazer has been driven less than 30000 miles. In total, the odometer shows just under 61000 miles!
Blazer runs and drives great. The engine starts right up, runs strong and doesn't smoke. Transmission shifts in forward and reverse gears like it should. Transfer case works like it should allowing 2 wheel, 4 wheel high and low operation. Windows roll up and down like they should. Doors lock and unlock. Heater and defrost blow good heat. All the gauges in the instrument cluster work. I would not hesitate to drive the Blazer across the country tomorrow.

Please note the Blazer has all of its original "Soft-Ray Safety Flo-Lite" factory tinted glass, even the windshield! The spring retainer clip is in place still on the power steering hoses.
The rear CST close out panels manufactured by "Findlay Industries Inc." are date stamped December 15, 1971. The original carpet with the carpet tag "J.P. Stevens & Co. Inc. Made in the U S A. will come with the Blazer but I did choose to install a new carpet kit by ACC carpets. The original P01 hubcaps as well as a full set of four original and correct 4 nub 15" steel wheels also come with the Blazer.

Correct reproduction coolant sticker installed on radiator core support. Correct "LL" emissions control sticker installed on left inner wheel house and correct "Keep your truck all GM" air filter sticker installed on air cleaner housing.
