Up for auction is a 1959 Chevy Apache 3100 pickup that I am selling for a friend. He parked it in my backyard 2 years ago and we worked on it some but he no longer has any time or money to put into it so it must go. A lot of the hard work is done. It has what I believe is the original straight 6 engine and manual transmission. This truck is running and driving but it needs a battery. The heater core box was pulled as it has some rust holes in it. Last year the truck got the brakes done on all 4 wheels. The seat got recovered last year as well. The windshield is cracked and the back window is not currently in the truck. There is a pic of a lot of new seals and the old heater core box that needs repairs. used uncracked back glass plus inner door panels and headlights and door and window handles and all that stuff in the pic is included with the truck. The truck should be trailered to its new home- although truck runs I wouldn't venture out of town with it. The front passenger side tire is flat but it can be aired up and holds air for a coupla days. The front fenders need some work at the lower edge but overall they are pretty solid. The wood bed was removed a year or 2 ago. It will need a new wood bed kit. The interior will need to be totally repainted as does the exterior of truck. The pickup obviously needs some body work before it is ready for paint. The title in the pics looks like it may have been issued in 1967 and it is all the paperwork that we have on the truck. I am being as honest as I can about the condition of this truck but lets keep in mind that it is a 55 year old truck that has probably never been restored. Cab corners have some rust through but its not very much rust at all. Would make an excellent for someone who wants an original Apache truck. Has the 235 Straight 6 with the 4 speed manual transmission.
