Description for Chevrolet Other Pickups 1969
1969 Chevrolet nice solid pacific north west (no road salt here) survivor c20 custom 350 automatic. No major dents. No major rust. This 69 runs great. It tracks straight down the road and everything works. I haven't had it long but I just found a 4x4 I want so this one needs to sell quick. That's why I am letting it go no minimum bid no reserve. Its nice enough that I am confident It will sell for what I need. Read on for the details. Body - Truck is straight with no major dents. I have no idea if it has ever been repainted. If it has it was a very long time ago. It still has some luster to it but It does have all the scrapes and scratches you would expect to see on a 46 year old truck that's been used but not abused. The previous owner replaced the floor pans. I took a picture of them before I installed the LMC carpet kit. The bottoms of the doors have some rust. probably from the holes in the doors from the tri bar mirrors that it originally came with. The rain gutters have some corrosion starting but not rusted through and no windows leak. Glass is good on sides and back but windshield has a crack. The inside of the bed is not all beat up like most I have seen. Cab corners. wheel wells and lower fenders are all solid. it even still has the factory markings on the firewall. Interior - As I stated before the previous owner installed new floor pans. I took a picture before I installed the LMC carpet kit. I also installed new door panels and door sills. The panels need new fastener keepers installed on the bottom. The dash is solid and not cut up. The seat needs reupolstered. It still has the original ac delco am radio and center speaker. All lights and switches work. Heater blows hot and strong. Yes the spot light works. I have no idea if it was a option or added on later. Engine/trans/running gear - It is powered by a 350 small block. Checking the block numbers it is from a 78 pick up. It has some mild upgrades like edelbrock carburetor. electronic ignition instead of points and long tube headers with dual exhaust. It starts right up runs smooth has good power and does not blow smoke. It has a couple small oil leaks. Not bad but leaves a small drip spot when parked for a couple days. (like most do) I think the transmission is a turbo 400. Don't quote me on that if it turns out to be a turbo 350. It shifts solid and proper. The passing kick down is not hooked up so that doesn't work. It has power steering but no power brakes. They are drum all the way around so no tail gating. It does not stop on a dime. I don't know what rear end gears it has but I did get on it crossing a street in the rain and both tires spun so it must be a posi. It currently has late model chevy alloy rims with studded tires. I will include a set of older white spoke rims with street tires that are usable. I believe I have covered everything. Its a good one to either restore or just drive it and use it like a truck. Please have your shipping details worked out before bidding. I can store it for a short time but I live in the burbs and room is limited. So pleaas don't take months to pick it up. Also bidding on ebay is a binding agreement. If your high bidder and do not pay I will file a small claims court claim in my home town. When you don't show I will win by default. I hate to make those kinds of threats but I am tired of eating 50. 00 listing fees because of dead beats. One last thing i don't no the true mileage of the truck. odometer is around 15k but who knows how many times its rolled over. Thanks for looking.
