Up for auction this nice 1954 3600 Chevy Truck. You know how hard it is to find a classic vehicle of this age in good condition, Well.... here is one in great condition with very, very little rust and awesome patina, we are selling it at NO RESERVE.Truck drives very well, of course she drives like a 54' truck with no power steering... if you know what I mean but drives just fine, starts right up, runs, drives and stops!!
This pick up truck it's pretty much all original but some work has been done to it for a better performance:
ENGINE she has a rebuilt 235 in line 6cyl out of a 1957 Chevy truck (work was done by the last owner), this truck came from factory with the same engine 235 6cyl so it's pretty much all the same, aluminum radiator, new hoses, electric fan installed, new 6 volt generator, new distributor and wires,all the fuel system it's new starting with the gas tank, sending unit, fuel lines, filters, new electric fuel pump and also a modern oil filter system installed.She has its original 4 speed on the floor manual transmission, shifts just fine and the clutch feels good.
LIGHTS all working good, headlights, interior light works, tail lights work good and YES the turning signal lights also working fine.
BRAKES: The brake system is factory original (drum brakes all around), working good as well, truck stops fine.TIRES and Rims are all BRAND NEW 225/75/16 with chrome lugs.
INTERIOR: we just installed a new interior (door panels, carpet, headliner, new seat, new inside door and window handles etc. The entire dash is all complete and original with out cuts or modifications, all the buttons controllers, handles all is there w/ NO missing parts, also has new gauges and working fine (gas, oil, temp etc), the speedometer is not working.
BODY: This truck still has its original paint that faded over the years and now she has this awesome patina look. Yes there is some rust or damage in some areas but it's very minimal, there is a dent by the driver's door and a few more here and there but I consider that normal wear for an old truck, I tried to point them in the pictures so take a close look.GLASS it's all complete and in great condition (No cracks or chips), windows roll up and down freely and doors open and close very well.
These are the only thing that may need some attention:-Needs a new core for the heater but all is there and works just fine (motor/blower, hoses, wires sw etc)-Windshield wipers don't work (I haven't checked why)-Rear bumper is not there.-Truck still has it's original wood bed, obviously it's old and has some holes (but I would leave it the way it is, cz' it's part of its originality)
In general the truck it's very solid to work with and restore or you can just drive it the way it is if you like the rustic/old style vehicles. YOU WON'T FIND MANY TRUCKS OF THIS AGE IN THIS GOOD CONDITION.If you think I'm missing something please ask questions BEFORE bidding.I have a clean and clear NE title on hand already signed and good to go.
IMPORTANTThis is a classic used vehicle therefore is sold as is in its present condition. This truck comes with NO warranty of any kind. I tried to describe it according to my knowledge but the Buyer is still responsible for inspectingthe vehicle before buying and pick it up where it is ( Bellevue NE).
