Description for Chevrolet Chevelle 1970
I am the seconds owner of this 1970 Chevelle, its not the common Malibu which they made more then 90,000 that year. Its the base V8 Chevelle which only 5177 were made, it came with rubber floor covering instead of carpet and this heater car doesn't have any vents on the dash, not even the corner ones. It has the base color coded wheels with the poverty caps, one was missing. The car came as a 3 speed manual transmission was was changed over to a turbo 350, looks like a dealer job since it was all done correctly. They also had aftermarket Air Condition and Cruise control added. The car only had a few options, tinted glass, 3:08 gears, door edge guards, AM push button radio, windshield washer and heavy duty radiator(3 core). They also added a transmission cooler since the radiator was not made for automatic. It does run very strong, radiator will need cleaning and brakes need bleeding, emergency brake is super tight and was what I used when moving the car to park it. The left rear door does not want to open, has rust in the lower back window which caused leaking and some rust in the inside of trunk lid, left channel and left edge of the trunk floor. The rest looks solid. front glass cracked, the rest of the glass is nice along with the trim around it. Door panels are also in nice shape, seats are dry and have tears since it was the cheap cloth version and headliner is coming down in two place. Can be taken off and repaired since the material is still nice. Great first car for a teen, maybe you have a few Chevelles and want to make this into a sleeper or maybe an old cop car. If your out of country and need help to arrange shipping this to a port, let me know and I do have a broker for shipping cars in the US. I can accept full payment thru Paypal with a written message from you knowing your buying this car as is with no warranty. US.This is an old car, body is nice but not perfect, please use the zoom to view the photos close up, has minor dents, scratches and some minor drops of green paint on the drivers side and rear bumper, very minor like it was parked under a carport when they painted the house. I can email or text more photos, I tried to upload more of the back seat and back window with no luck. Joe
