Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955
Somewhere between a restomod and a money-no-object cool custom build lies this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. With the whole car dipped in awesome paint, a dual-quad stroker motor, and full custom luxury A/C interior, this is a showstopper that will leave you wanting for nothing.
The '55 Chevrolet is an iconic, but you can instantly tell the factory never had the time to provide the level of detail seen here. It all starts with the paint that's immediately grabbing your attention. The red was borrowed from the Porsche palette, so this hardtop looks fast just standing still. And since this is all part of a rotisserie restoration, the whole car (including the undercarriage) looks like it was dipped in modern clearcoat candy. Against paint this nice only the best brightwork will do. And while the mirror-like grille and bumpers are instant symbols of this icon, you'll also notice some very unique features, too. For example, the side trim is a sleeker and more modern interpretation that looks great because it's arrow-straight. And speaking of modern, the sleeker presentation of the custom cowl hood and trunk lid help give a butter-smooth surface to subtle details like the red pinstriping and frenched license plate. In fact, you'll find great updated details everywhere like the headlights, flush door panels, and large Coys wheels staggered 20/22-inches front/rear for an aggressive appearance.
The moment you open the door, you'll wonder if they budgeted more for the inside than the outside, because this '55 puts many modern luxury cars to shame. The red leather looks just as aggressive as the exterior, and everyone gets a custom bucket seat experience. Plus, we bet you've spotted the ostrich pattern inserts on the seats, door panels, and custom headliner to really turn up the wow-factory when the public and/or car show judges take a peek inside. Plus, the smooth custom dash and woodgrain center console are true artistic touches. Comfort is king in this unique classic with power windows, full armrests in the doors, a modern AM/FM/CD stereo, and ice-cold air conditioning running modern R134a. But just because you're coddled doesn't mean you're missing out on performance. When you grab the ratchet shifter with your right hand, the Momo sports steering wheel with your left one, and a see the dual digital gauge pods glowing red, you instantly get the feeling that you're in for a speedy ride.
Grab your sunglasses before popping the hood, because everything that isn't covered in the awesome red has been polished to a mirror shine. We could go over the list of all the expensive glimmering components, but you're already too busy thinking about the awards this slick and shining engine bay will win. And the reason why this all still looks so good today is that there's only about 750 miles on the car since it was completed. But when you look behind the glamour, you'll see a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8. And those staggered bright shining carbs on top let you know this inhales with serious authority thanks to dual four-barrel carburetors on the cross-ram intake. All this muscle helps produce a fantastic sound out of the dual exhaust. But this one was built to be more than just a big power machine with a great rumble. You've already checked out the amazing painted undercarriage, and we bet you love how the cream painted frame is an instant attention-grabber, too. But don't forget about the details, like how there's pinstriping on the outer spare wheel well. And we know you'll be carrying a mirror to all the car shows so that people can see under at all the mirror-like upgrades such as the front brake discs, rear end, leaf springs, and shocks. But even on an award-worthy build, don't be afraid to drive it. After all, with power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and modern low-profile tires, this one can be driven to any car show with ease.
Here's a fantastic presentation that's custom from every angle. This is the icon that you drive and show, but you can only do it all if you're the first to snatch it up. Call today!!!
