For the discriminating collector who wants an Authentic L-79 in exceptional condition look no farther. This Southern L79 is not only rare but it is Documented. It still has It's Original Protecto-Plate and Shipping Invoice showing the L-79 Option. It also has the Original Document folder with the Original Owners Manual and warranty book.
Only 3,547 L-79's were finished as Super Sports and this is the extremely rare W Code- Chateau Slate Color.
This is a Numbers Matching Drivetrain with 4-Speed Close Ratio Transmission and Posi-traction Rear Differential with 373 Gears! It Has the Correct L79 Holley 670 Carburetor List #3245 that has been restored to new specs. Everything has been restored and rebuilt to perform as this Corvette powered sleeper should.
Restored as it was delivered new to Solomon Motor Company in Dotham Alabama, with Chateau Slate exterior, Black SS Interior with center console, Front and Rear Bumper Guards and Super Sport trim.
The fit and finish of the super straight body is striking with excellent panel gaps, bright trim and very nice original glass. The suspension and underbody are highly detailed in the correct finishes showing off the perfect floors and panels.
