Description for Chevrolet C-10 1972
I bought this 1972 Chevy C10-CST (Custom Sport Truck) about three weeks ago. I was going to fix it up, but found a 1969 I want to do instead. I love the Green and white color combo. This Truck looks good but needs some work if you want a real nice truck. I have only driven it a couple times and it seemed to handle really good. I made a short video and added it to this auction(View it down below). The family I bought it from have owned it for at least 38 years maybe a few years longer. The title is from 1980 but they bought it from a dealership in portland so maybe this is the year they paid it off and got the title. The truck was originally the Olive Green/White/Olive Green, the Dad had it painted the darker green at some point. Everything else seems to be original. The interior is nice,The seat is in great condition. I was thinking of taking the seat, and door panels, dash pad and putting it into my 72' GMC because of how nice it is. Its just to stock to start pulling parts from it though. The truck has the V8 350 with the heavy duty shocks. The spare tire is still back there also. I really haven't spent much time with the truck so Im sorry if I miss something. The truck is still in Portland OR and my friends shop. If it doesn't sell then I will bring it down to Ashland were I live and start working on it.It has rust in the rockers, corner cabs, lower door, and cab door lip. It may have rust that I missed but this is the most noticeable. Im not sure if it will need patch panels or if it can be repaired. The floors look solid and the rest of the body underneath looks solid also. The truck can be driven as is and still looks good. I was just going to take the running boards off, lower it and put the rims on it and drive it as is.If you need help with shipping I have a shipper that I use that lives about 30mins from me and has good prices. Buyer pays for shipping and is responsible for shipping. I can help and give you my shippers contact info but do not hold me responsible. My one negative feedback was left by a very crazy buyer that tried to work my shipper on cost and time then tried to get me to pay for shipping.
If you look at my feedback I do have a Negative and it was from a unreasonable buyer. He had me pay for repairs after the sell (never paid me back)and also tried to trick my transporter and told him I was paying. We did not get along and I get along with almost everyone. Some people are just out for themselves and take from everyone and that was this guy. Im very helpful and will go above and beyond with all my customers. I have sold thousands of items on ebay from $20 items-$75,000 items and I stay in contact with many buyers and proud to say made many friends through ebay. I can give you some of my buyer phone numbers for references if you like even.
