Description for Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe 1950
Up for auction is this 1950 Chevy Styleline Deluxe 2dr sedan. Not a show car but a very beautiful car. Appears to have only one respray with original trim, bumpers, skirts, etc. No damage to body what so ever. No rot at all. Floors and trunk are absolutely solid. Undercarriage is unrestored by still very clean. All options are original to the car. Beautiful dash with original steering wheel, cluster and knobs. Interior is very good condition, seats are still nice and firm, headliner and panels are in excellent condition. Just removed the original carpet due to being worn out. These are the original bumpers, they show some age but are straight. As for the drivetrain, it has a great running 235 straight six, not original to the car but still a 50's era motor with great shifting 3 speed manual transmission with no overdrive. As you can see in the engine compartment at some point someone installed an excellent working original vintage siren...not that cheap repop crap. Only thing this car needs is some minor wiring work. For the headlight (connections are old) and needs the break lights to be fixed it may just need new switch everything else works. Do not have the original hub caps but they are still find those. Like I said, it's not a show car but a very great cruiser always been garaged and driven on weekends to car shows and cruise nights. Please feel free to ask any questions.PLEASE NOTE: I WILL cancel ALL bids from anyone who has less than 50 feedback rating unless you notify me first. This is due to bad experience from my last car auction who ruined the auction. Thank you for understanding.
