We are selling this complete 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air that is in need of some restoration. The car is currently not running and has been inoperable for over 8 years. The frame is in excellent condition. The floor boards look in tact. The cars appears to have undergone a 1970s or 1980s restoration. The paint has pealed off in several areas.
There is some minor surface rust on the lower quarter panel (pictured). One other quarter panel appears to have some previous bondo work. Other than that the car is very solid. The glass is in excellent condition, no fogging. All original stainless is intact and nearly perfect.
The interior bucket seats are not original but presentable. The back seat vinyl is in nice shape. All door panels are in good shape. Headliner has some small mouse holes. The dash is original unrestored. Unfortunately there is no keys with the car and the ignition switch has been removed. All tires will inflate, but 2 will eventually go flat. Car rolls with no problem. Drive train is equipped with a 327 cubic inch and a 4 speed standard transmission Hurst shifter on the floor.
Car appears to have a dual custom exhaust system maybe glass packs. We cannot get into the trunk. Do not have a key. All Chrome is in tact. Rubber bumper bullets look to be new. Hood spears are showing some pitting. Rear chrome bumper ends are showing some pitting. Surprisingly the remainder of the chrome and Chevy emblems are in great condition.
This car would make an excellent daily driver with just a few days worth of work. In my estimation $500. The car is being sold as -is where is with no guarantees or warranties implied. If you have any reservations about this car. Please come and visit before you bid. I will sell to out of state and overseas buyers and will help assist the transporter at your cost. All checks, wire transfers, etc. must clear prior to removal of car. We will provide a clear notorized PA title and Bill of Sale at your request.
