What I have today is a very rare 1968 Chevrolet COE Tilt Cab with believe it or not just 24K on it! This truck is a 1 OWNER TRUCK! I have an original title from 1968! I was a fire truck for the Georgia department of forestry it spent its whole life in a small fire department and was stored in a climate-controlled garage until about 5 years ago when it was removed from service. At that time the fire equipment was removed as was the fuel tank and battery, it has not been driven since. I do not know what it needs to make it run again I was going to use a late model diesel Isuzu NPR or Nissan UD frame/power train and simply put the cab on the dependable Japanese chassis. I just do not have the time to do it. The truck is unbelievably clean for being 50 years old! VERY little rust all the seams and pinch welds are almost perfect! I have pictures of the rust and very detailed photo for you to make an informed decision, not photo of a rusty truck in a field taken from 50 feet away.
