Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1969
Very good condition. X11 car, true RS. In last 2 years: new paint, new convertible top, new suspension (except rear leaf springs), new brakes, interior reconditioned, etc. Top works perfectly up and down (using motor, not manually!). Car shows 75,650+ miles on odometer which I believe to be correct but I cannot prove without a doubt. All electrical with exception of windshield wipers works (I do not drive the car in the rain); including backup lights, all gauges, fuel gauge, etc. Has an el-cheapo radio that I listen to podcasts on - I don't have the heart to drill holes in door panels or elsewhere for speakers. The engine coding behind the alternator shows code HF which signifies L65 250HP engine with a Powerglide transmission according to sources on the web. Thus I believe it is the engine original to the car with a replacement transmission (now a TH350). It also has a 4 barrel Quadrajet. Engine is stock as far as I can tell (I haven't opened it up), with stock manifolds, new exhaust system, and flowmasters. DSE headlight actuators (electrical rather than stock vacuum) installed work perfectly. It has Hotchkiss support specific to convertibles underneath the driveshaft for added support. No emblems other than RS on the car as shown - I have the 350 and Rally Sport emblems that go with the car (one Rally Sport emblem is broken in middle). Comes with spare and boot cover (which may need replacing). Interior is very nice, no rips anywhere, stays cool even with top down. Front power disc brakes, rear drum, power steering. Steel cowl hood, spoiler on rear, and plain-jane hubcaps as shown. Paint has flaws but nothing major at all. Cowl stamping matches dash VIN as shown in pics. I can help load onto a trailer for shipping if necessary. I am happy to show the car to anyone within reason and highly recommend an inspection. On Aug-14-18 at 15:13:01 PDT, seller added the following information:VIN # is 124679N685008
