Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air ConvertibleThank you for taking a look at our beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible! This gorgeous car is painted in Tropical Turquoise and has a white leather interior with white convertible top. We started our renovations by looking under the hood and found a 283 cubic inch V8 from a 1965 Chevrolet Impala. After verifying that the 283 was in good driving condition, we looked at the muncie 4 speed manual and original rear axle. After making sure we had a drivetrain with potential, we went through the mechanical systems and made our checklist of items to improve on.
After verifying the good mechanical condition, the major mechanical systems were upgraded to maximize the driving experience! A Holley electronic fuel injection system was installed to improve starting and running reliability while power rack and pinion steering make the car very easy to drive, even at slow speeds. To help that V8 breathe, we installed a brand new dual exhaust that sounds fantastic. All of the fuel system and lines are brand new. And for convenience, we installed a hydraulic emergency brake. The brakes have been upgraded to power disks up front and drums in the rear. To help with the stance, new springs were installed on all four corners and coiler shocks were installed in the rear. In addition, new wheels and tires complete the look and show off the front disk brakes!
Inside, you'll find brand new white analog gauges and matching clock, as well as a modern radio with satellite radio and bluetooth! The convertible top is in nice shape and we replaced all of the major rubber and gaskets in the car to ensure it will keep you dry on a rainy day. In case you decide to drive at night, we upgraded the headlights to LED and they are very bright! You'll notice that when the car is turned on, a ring of light shines around the edge of the headlights!
The seat covers and door panels look to be older but in excellent condition. The paint and trim/chrome is in excellent condition with a few small blemishes, as to be expected in a car that has been driven. Overall, it is one beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible that is ready to be driven and enjoyed. Please take a look at the photos below and let us know if you have any questions about the car or would like to come and see it for yourself!
