Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1989
This body of Camaro were very popular in the 80s and early 90's.The Camaro convertible is a rarity. There are fewer and fewer out there that are worth restoring.
Every vehicle has its history. Since I acquired it I have enjoyed it and invested time and money as well.
The 305 TBI engine runs good. We believe there is a transmission shift kit in the car.
I have replaced the rear brakes, rear shoes, rear wheel cylinders. We replaced the oil pressure switch, the fuel filter, fuel line, EGR valve and IAT sensor.
We replaced the front springs, front struts, inner and outer tie rod ends.I added brand new Hurst Gold rims and brand new tires, both only have about 500 miles on them.
We replaced the front door pins and inside door handles and both sides and replaced a cracked tail light.
I put in a new Kenwood stereo, however the speakers will eventually need replaced.
The top is a not a power top, manual operation only. Mechanically it works well but the top needs replaced. It is in decent shape on top but will not seal at back. I am not a convertible top guy, I drove the car only on warm, sunny days and store the car in a garage with the top down 100% of the time.
The interior is grey and is in fair condition. The car was born Black, but I have the car dipped in Nio Green. It is a matte finish, but it can be removed easily. It protects the original black paint underneath.
I enjoy the car, but simply do not have the time anymore to continue to restore it or even drive it.
I would like someone to enjoy it so it does not just wither away.
If I cannot sell it on the eBay auction, it will be sold locally at Consignment auction after this auction is concluded.
Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.
