Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1967
Does it get any better than a '67 RS Camaro convertible for summertime fun? Well, to each their own, but if your answer to that question was "no", then you should check out this sweet ride. It's waiting for someone just like you to take it out cruising. Loud and proud in Hugger Orange with bold White stripes, this car turns heads as it rolls by. It helps when you are starting with the muscular good looks... of the Camaro with the fenders bulging to cover beefy wheels and tires. Add to that the RS option with the hideaway headlights that leave the grill looking super clean with nothing but thin chrome horizontal lines and an RS badge in the center. That is underlined by a pencil thin chrome bumper and a deep chin spoiler. Those bold white stripes run up each side of the cowl induction hood and compliment the white convertible top nicely when it is up. RS badging also appears on the front fenders and the gas cap. The wheel wells along with the rocker panels are dressed out in chrome and 5-spoke Torq Thrust wheels add their own splash of flash to the look. Open the door and you will find a black interior that looks great with the orange and is comfortable for cruising in the summer sun. The seats have cloth centers trimmed with vinyl around the edges complimented by orange embroidered JJS headrests. Back seat passengers enjoy the same comfortable seating so go ahead, drop the top and invite some friends out on a cruise night. A deep dish 3-spoke woodgrain steering wheel sits in front of a stock speedo and tachometer with auxiliary gauges to monitor critical engine functions mounted in the center console. The white shift ball for the manual trans rises from the center console and just begs to be stirred around. There is a JVC stereo with speakers in the door panels for your listening pleasure and the black carpeting has vinyl Chevy bowtie floormats to keep them protected from sand and dirt. Pop the hood and you will find an engine bay that is as nicely detailed out as the rest of the car with a 350 cubic inch GM Goodwrench crate motor nestled down inside. It is topped by chrome air filter that feeds an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and intake manifold. The valve covers as well as the rest of the engine look great dressed primarily in black. There is a new power brake booster and master cylinder putting the squeeze 4-wheel disc brakes and stock manifolds flow out to a dual exhaust system. There is an HEI ignition system with Red spark plug wires held in place by Blue clips and there are braided stainless coverings protecting the rubber lines that give an almost red, white and blue look to it. Power flows back through a 4-speed manual trans and the rubber meets the road through 275/40R17s mounted on those Torq Thrust wheels in the back while 235/45/R17s handle the turning and stopping duties at the front. A '67 RS convertible 4-speed that is looking good in Orange and White. Come on down and check it out. You may decide to drive it home and enjoy the rest of your summer and fall cruising in top down style.
