Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1988

This 1988 IROC Z-28 was bought new and has been in the garage everyday of its life. It has never seen snow, and rain only 5 or 6 times in its life by accident. It is in like new condition throughout with absolutely zero rust anywhere. It has a straight body with nice body gaps everywhere. All rubber is in great condition. It had a complete professional paintjob 6 years into its life due to some factory flaws and defects. High quality basecoat /clear coat were used and the finish is near perfect and better than factory new. Car was ordered new stripe delete, no T-tops, and no air conditioning. It has 67,500 actual miles. At 66,956 miles the following performance upgrades were made. 383 Chevrolet stroker with AFR Aluminum heads, Hydraulic roller cam and all high quality internal engine components. Holley Stealth Ram fuel injection with matched Holley intake manifold. Full MSD ignition system. New Chevrolet valve covers, coil, wires and spark plugs. Engine Dynoed 505 peak HP. It has a modified 700 R4 Transmission with a mild stall converter, TCI 700-r4 cp valve body "Vigilante 9.5 Torque converter ”, Shift Kit, and B&M Mega shifter. TCI Transmission cooler, Hurst line lock, Aluminum radiator with 2 electric fans. All new N20 Power Shot system with Jacobs's progressive controller that has never been used. Rear-end is all new Strange Dana S60 bolt in with 373 gears and Detroit locker with disc brakes. This car runs and drives very strong. The new combination has less than 500 easy street miles on it and it has not even begun to show its stuff. It has full custom dual exhaust in to 1 muffler like the factory style and sounds very nice. This is a fast street car that would also be very comfortable on the dragstrip. Car has custom polished aluminum wheels styled like the originals but have the original IROC wheels to go with it. Now has an MT ET Street tire on the back, P255/50 R16 and comp TA's on the front. Car has a Glass Tec cowl hood painted to match. Also has a Monster Auto Meter Sport-Comp tach, Fuel pressure, oil presser and water temp gauges. Car has new adjustable front struts and new large disc brakes on the front. It has Hooker ceramic coated long tube headers. The torque arm was replaced with a Spohn pro series. Has Spohn adjustable rear sway bar and Spohn Frame connectors also. This car drives very nice and the all-around performance is incredible. You will not find a nicer 1988 IROC Z-28. . Interior of the car, seats, carpet, door panels, headliner, are all original and as nice as when the car was new. New Z28 floor mats, and Grant steering wheel.
