Description for Chevrolet El Camino 1977
Beautiful 1977 Chevy El Camino "Classic". Was purchased new on July 9th, 1977 from Dan Steakley Chevrolet Company of Temple Texas by Edgar E. Smith of Belton Texas for $7354.27. Assembled at the Arlington GM Plant here in Texas. Fully equipped with Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Air Conditioning, AM-FM Stereo, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Dual Sport Mirrors, Rally Wheels, and last but not least "Swivel" Bucket Seats. Shows the code "AN7" Swivel Bucket Seats on the build sheet - unusual enough that the supervisor apparently also hand wrote and underlined "AN7" on the build sheet.
Enjoy the Detailed video of this El Camino Truck.
Video Above, Prospective Buyers Must Wath, Computer Screen Viewing Is Best ^ ^Runs and handles excellent - check out the drive video. Starts right up, choke engages properly. No pulling, shakes or shimmies. Air Conditioning blows cold however compressor is a little noisy. New raised white letter 70 series tires.
No mysterious stains or odors inside - carpet is torn under the passenger side floor mat. No wiper scratches or chips in the windshield - no vertical scratches on the door glass. Everything functions properly with the exception of the clock and the cruise control. Shows 42k miles, there are a few receipts but nothing I would characterize as "documentation"; I replaced the upper radiator hose and found it interesting that it was the original GM stamped equipment (I saved it) Unfortunately it is too old for a Carfax history report. Regardless, due to the age of the car, the title will read "mileage exempt".
I do not have a "buy it now" and will let the auction play out.
