The truck has 143. 14 miles on it. which represents less than 5. 00 miles per year. This truck was purchased new locally. and owned by an elderly gentleman that used it primarily as a fishing truck. When we obtained the truck it had a cap on the bed that had been there since new. It also had two makeshift cots in the back for this gentleman’s grandchildren to nap in while he fished. So the bed for the most part. never really had been used as a pickup truck. We decided to do a full makeover as a gentleman's truck. We started with a pretty nice truck to begin with. Virtually no rust. But for the sake of wanting to do a somewhat custom truck to show our local market our shops are capable of. we replaced the door skins. bedsides. front fenders. and tailgate with new Chevrolet OEM body parts. as we wanted the best fit we could get. The interior is stock. as it needs virtually nothing. It looks practically new. We then procured a full frame lowering system since we had the body off the frame anyway. we could slam the overall ride height of the truck. We lowered the truck approx. 4" and updated the suspension. We installed a 350 stroker motor. and installed a custom 2" exhaust system. We then ordered a custom set of 17" Cragar Wheels with 245/45ZR17 High performance Radial tires. The truck was painted its original two tone colors. and New bright work. along with new bumpers front and rear where installed. The AC works fine. and the truck comes with its original engine in a crate. The original engine ran fine when it was removed. and we don't anticipate it would need anything. but it does go with the truck Our total investment in this truck exceeded $25. 00. 00. While we would love to recover our investment. we are realistic. but we're not completely stupid. This was a design exercise. and reflects no consideration to the retail market. and whoever does obtain this truck will get a great deal for the money.
