Description for Chevrolet C-10 1967
This is a fully custom conversion from the world famous Street Machines in Ohio. I bought the truck a few years back fresh off the build and it's been in underground storage ever since. I may have put 500 miles MAX on it, unfortunately.Words from the builder himself:
I cherry picked this Chevy a few years ago in SD, to build as a show/shop truck. The truck sat before we were able to dig in, so it's a fresh build, less than a year old. We picked a SUPER SOLID 1967 C-20 2wd Long Bed and started our custom short bed conversion. We looked for every attention to detail on this build, welding and reinforcement to the chassis, this was done right by highly competent professionals. This beast can pull a loaded down 24' enclosed trailer without any worries.
The fit is prime and tucked in the rear so it can get ride nice and low. At the time of the chassis work EVERYTHING was cleaned and painted chassis black. So many small details, to many to list but here is the meat and potatoes:
5000lb Class 3 hitch installed with 7 pin connector
Brake controller installed so we could pull a trailer
2600 lbs Air Springs on all 4 corners
Height and load capacity is adjusted from the drivers side
Front suspension was COMPLETELY disassembled to bare frame and neatly reassembled with new ball joints, tie rods, bushings etc etc. (everything was painted during the reassembly)
THE ENGINE AND POWER TRAIN327 power pack was completely rebuilt with a forged new cylinder headsThe 4 speed was disassembled, cleaned, INSPECTED, new bearings installed along with a new clutch kit.
The rear was also disassembled, cleaned, INSPECTED and rebuilt with a NEW posi and 3.08 gears.
The interior was FULLY restored to it's glory adding a custom gauge cluster, upholstered seat, VW electric green metallic interior paint (amazing) paying attention to all small details.
The wheels were blasted and powder coated, new tires installed, all the brakes gone through.
I am sure I am leaving out hundreds of little details but I think you get the picture. I am a hot rod builder, I built this truck to use and to last, period. We didn't want any problems so A LOT of time, energy, hands and money was invested into this build.
The truck has been used very little, more for bragging rights and shows. As you can see, it get's plenty of action........the job and look, very well done, my name is on it =)
