1968 Chevelle Concours wagon. This car was built in the mid-west 12 years ago, then transplanted to California shortly thereafter. The car was driven the entire 1600 mile drive averaging 18 mpg, and made it out to CA without a single problem. In the 12 years since, the car was only driven a grand total of 200 miles, spending all of its time in a garage under cover. Here's whats been done to the car. New professionally built 350 engine / new HEI ignition / new 2 barrel carb / all suspension & brakes replaced / paint and body re-done / upgraded to a professionally rebuilt 700R-4, which is a 4 speed automatic transmission, and 4th gear is an overdrive gear. This car was purpose built to take the kids and grand-kids in California everywhere and get good mileage doing it. The car was also designed to be happy running interstate speeds. The paint and bodywork were professionally done 12 years ago and the car still shows very well, but it is not perfect. The car has a few scratches from stuff being leaned up against it / etc., just the typical stuff. Car runs drives and sounds great. The interior was also redone and is a mild custom job with a burlap style fabric with flames embossed throughout interior. This is a fly in and drive home car, and is fairly rare as you don't see many of them around, and they never were a very high production number car..CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE IN HAND.
