Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1987
UP FOR AUCTION : 1987 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z-28 This is a true Z-28 Survivor Car with the 5.0 HO v-8 motor, and a t-5 manual 5-speed transmission. The car is an original car with 123K on the odometer. The body has rust, but straight. No dents or dings, rust on both doors and quarters. There is NO Rust underneath this car. All glass is good, all interior panels are good. The driver's seat is worn in the usual spot, headliner is sagging, dash has some cracks, and carpet is very worn. The vehicle RUNS like a 350 and the 5 speed shifts fine. This Z-28 DRIVES very well. The motor is smooth, doesn't smoke or leak oil. There is a small exhaust leak when first started, but goes away. All gauges work, as well as lights, stereo and horn. The original t-tops are in good shape as well as the bags. The motor is carbureated with a 4-bbl. quadrajet, and performs quite well. Windows are manual crank, and operate smoothly. The hatch opens and closes fine. The car has all a/c components intact, but missing the belt. I assume it is non-operational. All in all, this is a very respectable, and restorable classic. I don't know how many were made, (a LOT). I don't know how many were 5-speed, or how many were red. I just know this is a very desireable, and collectible classic muscle car. It is also very AFFORDABLE. My buy it now price is $2250. I will start the auction at $.99. The reserve is low, so.. bid well, bid what you feel it is worth. I bought this car with intentions of restoring it, but I am changing jobs and find myself short on cash. My wife says I was "impulsive", I think of it more as "spontaneous". Any serious inquiry, feel free to ask. Car is sold "as is". Fly in drive it home. Best wishes....On Sep-19-18 at 02:03:29 PDT, seller added the following information:The car is a 1984 Z-28 model, not 1987.
