Engine runs great! If you need a reliable work truck, this is an amazing option for you.
There are obvious cosmetic things with the truck, small dents and dings, from its years as a light duty hauler as a part-time moving company truck. The bones of the truck though, from the engine to the transmission to the chassis, are all solid. This is a good truck and is ready for another 100k miles.
Why am I selling it? My girlfriend is making me. She doesn't like riding in a work truck. Plus, i don't really have anything to haul around anymore. I have a new job where I spend most of my days in one spot.
What's included:
Battery Isolator - Hook up an auxiliary battery to the alternator and power your tools without fear of draining the main battery.
Big hardened plastic storage compartment - This thing is awesome for storing stuff. You'll need to provide your own lock but the box is in great shape.
Factory Service Manuals from Chevrolet - Two big official books. You can do all your own service on this truck! Also have a Haynes manual with it too as a backup, but you'll have a guide to everything including the electrical system.
Upgraded Radiator - A heavy duty radiator, twice the size of the OEM.
Upgraded rear suspension - Replaced the shocks to support heavier loads in 2011. Still going strong. They do make the truck ride a little rough when unloaded, but that's easy enough to replace if you want a smoother ride.
Wincos Nano Ceramic Tint - 70% front window, 50% on sides and rear window. The installer did a great job and looks really attractive. Keeps the inside of the truck 20 degrees cooler, too.
Comes with big telescopic towing mirrors. I love how big the mirrors are in this truck - you won't have any trouble seeing behind you! Spare passenger side mirror, still in the box, included.
Service done Recently:
Windshield was replaced in May 2018 with OEM glass.
Starter, Alternator and belt were replaced in July 2018.
Fuel pump was replaced Winter 2017.
Door hinges and Door latches replaced on both sides in June 2018.
A/C Blower was replaced in 2016. Converted from R12 to R134 in 2012. A/C blows cold!
Oil and Lube every 4000 miles like clockwork.
What the truck still needs, service-wise:
- It'd be a good idea to get a new batch of tires sometime in the next 3000 miles. They're at 5/32 right now. The spare is full-sized and has zero miles on it.
- Upholstery job for the driver and passenger seat. You can probably find replacement seats or some covers for cheap.
- If you're picky, a new floor liner is a good idea. It's in good physical shape, but has stains in it that just won't come out. They're on E-bay for less than $200 brand new.
- Some jerk on my street clipped the driver's side mirror while it was parked yesterday. They're $60 on E-Bay, and easy to replace.
- The Arm rests could stand to be replaced. I've had trouble finding a matching color to the originals but they're otherwise all over E-Bay.
- The Rims could use a coat of paint. They're in great shape otherwise.
