Description for Chevrolet C-10 1967
NO RESERVE.........This project phase truck is totally able to drive anywhere and comfortable to go anywhere with added power brakes, steering, automatic trans and Vortech 350 motor. 3in exhaust down to 2.5 chambered mufflers over the axles sounds amazing. New tires and rally wheels. You can leave it like it is but it is the most solid 68 step side truck with original paint I have found. It took 2 yrs to find it. Every panel has original green paint under epoxy sealer to preserve it except steel cowl hood. Original bumpers and trim pieces for the grill are there too missing grill clips . Suspension is a 3/5 static drop not sure if spindles are drop but appear to be. Ive been over it with a small magnet and the only bad spot I found is believed to be a dent in the lower rocker that was fixed at some point. The bed rails are perfect and the tailgate top has 2 small dings. All the inside bed lower rails are there and in fine shape. All need refinished as the truck body is in original condition. The bed wood is weathered but not rotted. The inside has been done already in black cherry paint with a grey velour split bench that is very comfortable. All gauges and lights work. Wipers work but knob has a crack and falls off. Weatherstripping is new and installed on doors. Door jambs and door insides are already painted you can see the original door skin overlap no signs of rust or Bondo ever. . Carpet and sill plates are new. Vent window rubber has not been done yet. The cab mounts, floors, cab corners, roof and A-pillars down doors and over windshield are all solid as the roof seam is still intact from new. The mechanics of this truck are tip top. It is running and driving great with a comfortable ride for being a lowered vehicle. The 5 lug conversion has been done as well as power brakes and was all done new. Power steering and brake booster all working well. Truck goes straight as an arrow and stops great. I have this truck the way I want it and the next step was to tear down and do a quality build I could keep. Life has intervened and now she must go. I seriously paid up for this very fine example and traveled far to get it. its from TN and is in Northwest Indiana at this time 46307. I encourage anyone interested to come see it you will not be disappointed. Drive it hear it feel it you will love it. Message for more pics and info I have had several of these over the years from rat rods to hot rods to slammed, bagged show trucks and I know exactly what to look for on them.
