The car was built in marchThe rear end was built in marchEngine code is hf was a power glide car

On Oct-10-18 at 22:18:47 PDT, seller added the following information:

The engine code is hf means power glide as the date on the engine a279 means 1/27/1969 made
3956618 block casting
Pad reads v0203hf
The block is pretty low volume as well not many madeMatches the vin
But all translates to power glide transmission not the stick thats in the car
The rear axle code is
BS0318G1 (first line) Second line is 'E'
Which makes it a 3:31 Posi built on March 18th, at GM Gear Plant, 1st shift.

Camaro experts kurt sonen has only seen 1 or 2 of these cars with powerglide
This is the real deal. The holy grail of base l65 camaro...

Will send you pics of trim tag and vin if need be.

Let me educate you little more on this car..

Do you guys have any clue how rare a 1969 camaro l65 12 bolt car is
Let me educate you the l65 took lm1 placeThe lm1 was killed in 4 months because it sold 10,400 units ... was killing the ss350 sales .. because the lm1 came with 12 bolt ss350 came with 10 bolt you needed to spend more to upgrade trans on ss350..to get the 12 bolt. so they killed lm1 .. replaced it with l65 gas saver.. same car as lm1 just two barrel carb and different intake for 2 months they used lm1 parts this car was very lucky to get it
This car the l65 only few have been documented out of the 25000 sold
This is car is extremely rare not desirable butTo cover gm mistake they had to do something so they renamed it and detuned it buy swapping intakes and carb
The lm1 was putting 275 hp real hpL65 was putting 270 hp with 9.0 compression
Lm1 came ready as race car ss350 didnt
L65 came as race car .. you could boost these cars and whip every camaro out with compression of 9.0 lol
The high compression motors couldnt run superchargers the lm1 and l65 car could Not one camaro in 69 could hang with lm1 and l65 when boosted. The ss350 ss396 z28 copo are nice cars for oem car i get it i understand that..but performance hell no ever put supercharger on lne of them it blow up in second. The lm1 and l65 for few months came ready to race thats what these cars are race cars. Built for supercharger

The ss350 was gm greatest con sadly everyone got dupped lm1 record speaks for it self.. the l65 was its predecessor for 2 months.
