Totally restored. Verified SS Chevelle. Data plate shows Paint #72 Monaco Orange. This color could only be ordered with the SS 396 package in '69. Also shows upper paint/vinyl top "B" Black. Interior Color "B" Black Vinyl upholstery.
The 396 has been upgraded to a 454 with hi-rise Edlebrock manifold and 4 barrel carburator. Receipt I have from the man who restored the car shows $20,000 spent on the engine...alone. Current miles are under 1200, which is the mileage since the engine rebuild. Odometer set back to zero. I have almost $13,000 in other receipts. Check the pics....former owner had a love affair with chrome...but it really looks great.!! Muncie 4-speed with Hurst shifter. All Interior new, Carpet new, Dash pad new. Center console new including stainless brushed top. Rear package rack new. All seat belts in 5 places, New. Three new dual cone speakers for the hidden Sony Stereo/CD in the glove box. Has an antenna like a cell phone. Picks up FM stations 60 miles away.!! Remote for stereo. Pandora connection and Iphone connection. New Flow-Master Dual Exhaust with correct SS tips. Eaton Posi-traction rear end. Brand new. Has 3:73 rear gears, Brand New. Transmission just re-built by Chevelle transmission specialist. New gears, bushings, syncros, bearings, keepers....Everything. Linkage bushings, New....it shifts like a dream. It's done right. Has light package...under hood, courtesy interior lights and light at the back of the console. All dash lights work. Headlights, Hi-Beams, Turn signals, Back-up lights, Brake lights, Running lights. Dome light, Glove box light... ALL Work. Power steering, Power brakes. Front Disc, rear Drum. Entire front end...all new bushings. Just aligned and centered the steering wheel. New rear springs. New Shocks on all four corners. KYB, the best there is. Radiator rebuilt. New hoses. Maintains correct temp even on the hottest days. All glass perfect.
