Description for Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1971

I bought the car the way it is and planned on driving it around while working on it. I have no idea what is under the paint but there is some filler in the lower quarters behind the rear tires. This is a very solid project/driver but does need work. I don't know the original mileage I would think that the odometer has rolled over once. It comes with many extra parts, gauge cluster, wood grain gauge surround trim, hoses, trim pieces, trunk lid, tilt steering column, and many other small misc items that are all in the trunk of the car. The center console and floor shifter are not mounted or hooked up but I do have the shift cable for it to hook it up. The transmission is leaking mainly when it's sitting at the pan gasket. Selling the car because it's just too much for me to do with the limited time and resources I have at this time.

1977 454 LF-8 out of a truck runs good no smoke or noise, 400 turbo auto shifts great clean fluid, Comp cam #11-242-3, Eldebrock intake manifold, 750cfm dual feed Summit carburetor, long tube headers with flowmaster mufflers, Most of the AC system is new except the compressor and evaporator coil,12 bolt rear end not sure of the gear ratio, New Eibach springs with the suspension set up like stock car it handles very well you can't tell that there is a big block under the hood the way it handles, upper ball joints, poly urethane sway bar bushings, sway bar links, disk brakes in front with new calipers, drive shaft u-joints, all shocks, trunk pan replaced, new gas tank straps, new fender aprons,

Good matching tires with Rally wheels, only have two center caps to the wheels, all the lights and gauges work, was plated and insured, clean/clear NC title in hand, runs and drives good, easily goes down the freeway 70-75mph but how far you want to drive it home is up to you it is an 47 year old car so anything could go wrong at any time.
