The 283/270hp engine is equipped with 2 4-barrel carburetors and pulls very nicely. The exhaust tone is just right. The current rebuilt engine replaced the original engine and is the correct Chevrolet 283 cubic inch displacement just like the original engine. The restoration included the engine to be built to 270hp specifications. This configuration includes a dual quad carb set up. It's mated to an original style T-10 4-speed manual transmission. It's prettier than most with a clean, straight body from end to end and a brilliant, shiny coat of paint. The exterior restoration includes all new trim, chrome, lights, lenses, emblems, etc. On the inside it's decked out with all new seat upholestery, dash pad, dash cluster and housing, steering wheel and column trim. It has new door panels and accompanying chrome trim molding, latches, hardware and weather stripping. The center console has been restored along with console trim. The interior is correct all the way down to the new loop style carpeting. The top is new as are latches and hardware. In the trunk, it is detailed with new color coded factory style wall trim, trunk mat, etc. We have inspected and serviced the car here in or service facility and are happy to give it a clean bill of health.
