Description for Chevrolet Blazer 1985
This is a one-owner 1985 Chevy Blazer. When the vehicle had 39. 25 miles on it. the motor was replaced with a 1998 low-mileage 350 fuel-injection motor. The motor was purchased January 20. 1999 for $2100 and was professionally installed. I have receipts for this. The motor had approx 2000 miles on it at that time. It came out of a 1998 wrecked Camaro. The original owner wanted a 350 when he bought the Blazer new. but couldn't get one. So he had it replaced with a professionally installed 1998 Vortec 5. 7L 350 ci V8 and a new Engine Computer Management System for more power. The Blazer has always been garage-kept. never been wrecked or rusted. The interior is absolutely flawless with original GM floor mats. This Blazer has never been abused. It still has the original paint on it. which is very nice. If you look really close. you might be able to make out 2 little door dings in the body. It has a small crack in the windshield. down low on the passenger side and a small star on the driver side. The original headliner has a little bit of sag to it. but I didn't want to change it because it's the original. This is probably one of the cleanest Chevy Blazers you will ever find that is a 1985. It has Michelin tires with very good tread left on them. I drove this the other day about 20 miles on the freeway at 70 mph with no problem. I have the original window sticker. maintenance book. warranty book and owner's manual. I have all of the receipts for everything that's been done. I have a small book documenting every time he put gas in it. According to his wife. this was his pride and joy and would have never sold it. He passed away and she couldn't stand seeing it in the garage. I bought it because of how clean it is. I collect older vehicles. I'm losing my storage and refuse to leave it outside. so it must go to a good home. There is no Buy It Now. If you're interested. please bid. I am a KS dealer. If sold to a KS resident. I am required by law to collect tax (7. 15%). You are welcome to call with questions or to set up an appt to see it in person. if you'd like. Please contact Larry at 316-393-5275 from 10am - 8pm CST (Central Standard Time). **Buyer is responsible for shipping** **Deposit ($500) is due within 48 hours of auction ending. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction ending or deposit will be forfeit. **On Feb-14-15 at 08:48:27 PST. seller added the following information: I had someone contact me asking questions about the motor. He said that if it was a Camaro motor it would be an LS1 motor. I had taken the information that the widow gave me on the motor. which was that it was a motor that came out of a 1998 Camaro. I went back through the paperwork & receipts I have when I got into work this morning. The receipt is for a Vortec 5. 7 engine. I've gone through the other paperwork that is with the documents that state it is a 1998 Vortec engine. I did not find anything about a Camaro engine. I just took the wife's word as fact. I did not intend any fraud. which is why I corrected this as soon as possible.
