Life marches on and sometimes you just have let an old toy go down the road. Restoration completed in 2003. Lots of small custom details went into this old hay hauler. The usual shaved hood and fender emblems. frenched antenna. shaved bumper bolts. rear roll pan and tailgate chain delete are a given. However. closer inspection reveals smaller details like. smoother interior metal seams. welded bed seams. steel mounted third brake lamp on the back of the cab and frenched foglights in the bumper. The stock instrument cluster is now white face. My game plan during the build was to create a clean truck that was more resto-rod than full custom. No it doesn't have a 350/350 with independent. billet everything. but it is a great truck to drive and experience a few of the bumps that the road and life have to offer. I have over $15. 00 in receipts and god knows too many hours invested. but those hours were a lot cheaper than therapy at the time. Like all of us. it has a few issues these days. but I will be completely upfront with them. Also available is a stroker 261 motor.
