Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1972
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1972 Chevrolet Corvette for consideration. While C3 Corvettes are not all that rare, nothing beats an early Stingray with chrome bumpers, t-tops, bold lines, nimble handling and plenty of power. They are stylish and very fun to drive. Its low riding package will never go out of style. The Stingray is the very successful 3rd generation Corvette that stood atop of the muscle car heap prior to the power squashing government regulations.... If you are looking for an excellent stock chrome bumpered Sting Ray, look no further. This stout example is finished in its original Factory Elhart Green exterior paint over Fawn Beige interior. The car is powered by its 350 V8 engine, automatic transmission and 3.73 rear end. Options include: Power steering, power brakes, power windows, air conditioning, luggage rack, rally wheels, T-tops, tilt steering wheel, Astro-ventilation, etc. Mechanically, the car starts right up and drives out very well. It is important to note that the all the Air Conditioning components appear to be present but the compressor would need to be rebuilt or replaced. Although Chevrolet continued the C3 corvette an additional 10 years, 1972 marks and end of an era as it was the last year for the chrome front bumper and healthy horsepower. It has become an American icon and desirable in all 4 corners of the globe.
