Description for Chevrolet Chevelle 1969
Up for auction is my rare 69 Chevelle SS 396 is very rare 51 Dusk Blue with matching blue interior. Car has all original born with motor matching the VIN, and CC coded Turbo 400 transmission and rear end. This was a restored car in 1996-1997 and still retains almost all of its original sheet metal from what i see. Body is lazer straight and super clean, no dings or scratching, brand new white vinyl top really offsets this car. Brand new wheel opening moldings are on the car but i do have the original ones included as well, brand new OEM style rally wheels with all new centers and trim rings, included are the original date coded wheels centers and trim rings. Interior is mostly all original with the exception of the brand new headliner and recovered front seats and door panels and rear package tray, all new window chrome trim as well. Car runs and drives like new, not a tick noise or smoke from this old lady!!! Believed to be an original 40,000 mile car which i am trying to document as we spreak, judging by the frame and floors its a 40,000 miles car. They are litterally flawless with barely any flaking at all. Front end was rebuilt as well as new body bushings and control arms as well as control arm bushings, brakes, lines, wheel cylinders, shoes, drums pads and rotors. From the likes of it this was a car that had sat for a bit then restored and barely driven. All 4 original T-3 headlights are still in place and work perfect. Car was documented by NCRS but i have not looked for the build sheet as of yet. It is a Kansas built car and i have done much homework on it. I have included pictures of the receipts for some of the work and parts, also included is over $3000 in brand new parts that were going to be put on just to make it 100% but not needed as parts on car are in great shape and original. Brand new vinyl top molding, SS emblems, dash cluster, proper PCV element with correct GM hoses and clamps many more parts too. Car has a very small blister under drivers side quarter the size of a dime, under the new vinyl top was not rusty nor rotted top was just stained and seems were coming apart. All in all car is 100% jump in and car show or cruise night ready and very rare in code 51 Dusk blue with all original numbers matching drivetrain. Car is listed for sale locally so i reserve the right to end early. Car will be sold with CT State Bill of Sale and Current registration needed in most states [ IF NEEDED I WILL OBTAIN A TITLE FOR NEW OWNER]. Please do not bid unless you plan on following through with the sale. My phone number is 413-330-3857 if you need more info more need more pictures, i will send them to serious people not picture collectors. Good Luck and Happy Bidding! On Dec-30-18 at 15:04:47 PST, seller added the following information:Car was sold new at Smith Chevrolet in Fort Smith Arkansas, I have not taken the interior apart to look for build sheet as I am positive this is a real numbers matching car, I will not take it apart so the new owner may look for it themselves. Also had quite a few questions about the spare parts, as stated in the listing I am including all of the brand new parts as well as all the original parts as well including the correct date coded wheels with center caps and original trim rings.
