Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1971
The time has come and although it has been a difficult decision, I have decided to sell my Corvette. One of very few 1971 Matching numbers, Mille Miglia Red with Black leather interior convertible with factory A/C. Edelbrock aluminum heads and original factory cast heads, original seat belts and shoulder belts. New black convertible top in 2017, 350 4 Speed. Original heads supplied. This car has just 1,200 miles since a total nut and bolt body off restoration and rebuild over a 6 year period and refreshed in 2015 and 2017. Original A/C is new but never charged as it is not needed in cool weather. P/S, P/B, P/W, Tilt/tele wheel. Original AM/FM wonderbar radio refurbished. 17x8 Polished American Racing Wheels on Pirelli P Zero tires. Powder coated bumper brackets. PERFECT Chrome!!! It has been maintained meticulously since being restored. If you are looking for a well-maintained and cared for Corvette Convertible, look no further. Although this car retains its original engine and other parts, it is restored well over what NCRS would consider factory correct. That starts with the stunning Mille Miglia Red paint and other "over detailed" parts of the car. The frame was blasted and epoxy coated. Bare glass areas were clear coated and parts that normally rust such as suspension parts were also coated. There is no wear showing since restoration. No amount of money was spared and it shows. Calipers were professionally rebuilt with stainless steel sleeves. Trailing arms were professionally rebuilt. The car drives incredibly nice and performs flawlessly. The clock works as does everything else. The clock was rebuilt with quartz mechanism but all original parts are present. Gauges are crystal clear. The vacuum operated lights and wiper door works as they should. Fiber Optics all work perfect. The carburetor is a 680 Holley double pump with mechanical secondary, electric choke. There is NOTHING you need to do to this car to drive and enjoy it for many years to come. I take great pride in my cars. This car won't last, so if you're interested in an amazing piece of car history, this is the one for you. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY, SAVE THE SCAMS I KNOW THEM ALL! I do not need to sell the car but I believe it should go to someone who has the time to drive and enjoy this beauty. Please look at all pictures carefully as they are of the actual vehicle for sale. I welcome all questions and am willing to show the car to serious buyers, the car is currently stored in a heated garage. No low-ball offers, please don't waste my time or yours! I am willing to assist with shipping however that is in addition to the price of the car and at the buyer's expense. Do not let this one get away, it is GORGEOUS!
