1955 chevrolet suburban 4x4 napco project like apache fleetside pickup truck

Description for Chevrolet Other Pickups 1955

Rare 1955 Chevrolet 1/2ton Suburban with clamshell rear door. Vin shows it was a factory V/8 now has 307/350 previous owner had it inside for last 23 yrs when he bought itit had Napco drive train but he wanted power steering and power disk brakes so he installed front axel from a 78 jeep and had it aligned.4 wheel drive is all hooked up but front or rear gear set needs to be changed as they don't match.Motor and trans were installed and motor was wired to start and move it around. Battery moved to under floor.rust repair has been done to floors, steps, bottom of doors, lower front fenders and front of cab.Still has some rust in bottom of lift gate and quarter panels (I have a set of short fleetside bed sides that I will sell for $ 700 to patch quarters) Roof, tailgate and apron all look great.

Truck does start and drive but needs good tune up or maybe carburetor as it is now running rough has no noises or smoke just runs rough!has temporary tank install in back. needs wire harness installedalso needs glass installed, have windshield and door glass, missing 3 of the slider windows, will also need tailgate cables, comes with lots of the parts that he took off, (grill, bumper, door hardware, heater, gauge cluster, wire harness, glove boxect) even has key for rear door.

interior is in good shape but dash had been cut for radio still has vinyl mat in back no signs of rust inside. I may change front seats to tan vinyl
