Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1993
You are looking at a C4 1993 Corvette Coupe. automatic transmission 383 stroker. which I have affectionately named the Night Stalker or Whiplash because it will put your head back in the head rest and stalk and overtake a lot of well-known sports cars (the makes and models have not been disclosed to protect the innocent). This car is for a sports car or need for speed enthusiast. I originally purchased my Vette from a seller on eBay motors (Item No. 300273069487) on November 22. 2008 with 198. 39 miles. This corvette has the C4 badges. C5 Z06 styled wheels and fender stripes that were installed by the previous owner/seller. The odometer mileage listed at the time of sale was 198. 39. However. the effective age of the motor and transmission were less than 198. 39 because the previous owners had some transmission work done on September 25. 1999 (mileage at time of work = 89. 247) and on July 15. 2003. the 350 LT1 motor was upgraded to a 383 stroker (mileage at time of work = 136. 59). Since that time. I have put approximately 32. 86 miles (i. e. . 231. 25 – 198. 39) on my Vette. The current odometer reading is 231. 25 and therefore the effective age/mileage on the transmission (i. e. . 231. 25 – 89. 47) which is 142. 78 and the effective age/mileage on the motor (i. e. . 231. 25 – 136. 659) which is 94. 66. I recently purchased another house and need to sell my Vette to help pay for some of my home improvement projects. Please prospective bidders realize that I want to sell my Vette and not that I must sell it. Therefore. I will only entertain serious offers/bidders that are willing to offer a fair price for a Vette that has the upgrades previously mentioned. Bidders are welcome to obtain an independent inspection at your own expense or test drive my Vette upon proper proof of insurance and drivers’ license. Miscellaneous Information: This Vette has a 383 stroker. stall converter. Bosch 25Lb fuel injectors. 3 headed K&N filer. summit racing Taylor cable 10mm spark plug wires. magna flow exhaust (note: this car is tagged out of a jurisdiction that does not have to get annual emissions and as such has no cats. smog pump and is running straight flow from the stock manifold header to the tail pipe). This car sings in the baritone section of the street choir and listening to the exhaust system is music to your ears. For those of you who are familiar with early model Vettes already know that they are the Jaguars (before Ford purchased/merged with them) of General Motors. That is. Vettes are good cars and fun to drive but do require tinkering with or TLC and either you need to know your way around a car or know a good mechanic because some small item will need your attention (e. g. . GM uses plastic gears in their headlight motors) which means you guessed the proverbial one eye headlight wink when your headlight will not retract or deploy. Also. my Vette will be in need of weather stripping. paint job in some areas because you can see a little oxidation on the back of the car near the gas cap area. The leather seats have the 40th anniversary stitching and there is a small area on the driver’s seat near the seam that needs to be stitched up but overall with a good buff and seat covers this car looks good. Hopefully. you can see and get a good idea from the uploaded photographs regarding the general aesthetic condition of the car. Additionally. I have a file folder with the receipts and invoices for the repair and/or upgrade work that has been done over the years to my Vette that I will pass along to the successful bidder/owner. Condition: You are bidding on a used "As Is" vehicle that is in good running condition and gets about 12 mph city and 26 mph highway. Inspection: It is your responsibility to either personally inspect or have someone inspect the vehicle to your satisfaction and the seller only warrants that the vehicle has clear title and is being sold "as is" condition. Shipment/Pickup:Transportation and pickup is the responsibility of the successful bidder. I will not be responsible for delivery or shipment of this vehicle. Payment: I will accept certified check. nbsp;cashier's check or money order and must have receipt and verification of funds before the vehicle will be released. title and bill of sale executed.
