1955 Bel-Air 2 dr Hardtop It is hard to find a more iconic car than a 55. I have a modest car collection and found this one several years ago. The paint and body work is outstanding. To duplicate this kind of work would be 15-20K. I paid 35K for the car. It has a 350/350 for reliability. Power steering for ease of driving and a dual master cylinder with a power booster and front disc brakes for safety. Since my acquisition, I noticed the wiring harness was spliced in too many places. I had a new harness installed from taillights to headlights. I added missing trim pieces, had the rear springs replaced, front shocks, tie rods, new radiator, alternator, water pump, battery...the list goes on. It is a nice driver. I get it out regularly, but have another ten cars to deal with. I will sell for the starting price. I have kept all receipts and the money adds up. I have between 45-50K in this car. I do not need to sell it and I still have garage space. So, please no trades and no offers under the starting price. As with all cars, a serious buyer should be willing to come see it or have an agent look at it. If is doesn't sell in the next 6 days it just goes back in the garage. I will not relist.
