The pictures tell most of the story, here is the rest: This APPEARS TO BE ACCIDENT-FREE, SMOKE-FREE and PET-FREE! It's a "DRIVER" NOT A "TRAILER QUEEN" It has had some restoration work performed as you will see: It's repainted with some light orange peel, and the interior refreshed with new carpet and seat upolstery. It has an aftermarket Holly intake manifold and 650 CFM carb, chrome valve covers and air filter housing with the original parts INCLUDED as shown in the photos.
As it says above, you can drive this one "as is" BUT "if it was my car" I'd do something about the following items: #1 The engine idles very badly when the choke turns off (smells too rich) and needs a tune up or carb adjustment #2 The clutch will probably need to be replaced sooner than later as the pedal needs to be released most of the way to engage. #3 The original rubber clutch and brake pedal covers are dried out and should be replaced (cheap at $6.99 and readily available). #4 There's no spare tire or wheel #5 The locks on the doors and rear (oval key) don't work. I'd replace them so I could lock the car. The ignition (square key) works fine! #6 Replace the Panasonic radio/cassette tape deck with a current audio system #7 Two places need the paint touched up (both are pictured with close ups) #8 The clock doesn't work #9 The car cover needs repaired at the radio antenna.
That's all I could find!
The car is stored INSIDE OUR BUILDING at 104 West Schrock Road in Westerville, Ohio. The former owner said it was stored in his garage the entire time he owned it and never tried to lock it, probably why the locks are stuck.
