Description for Chevrolet 3100 1955
You are bidding on a 1955 Chevy 3100 Cameo pickup. Truck has minimum work that needs to be done. The title is currently not in my possession but obtainable. The original owner which was my uncle passed away 2 years ago and left the truck to me in his final will and testament. I have documents necessary to provide proof of ownership. I have been letting the truck sit for the most part do to I just don't have the time or money to restore the truck. My Uncle has been the proud owner of this truck for more than 30 years prior to him leaving it to me. He once restored the truck back in the 90's but became ill and let the truck sit in Arizona for the last 10+ years. Truck runs and drive with no problems. The engine was rebuilt a few years ago but never driven. When I received the truck. I started it and drove it maybe 10 miles and the radiator sprung a leak. I actually replaced the radiator but it was the incorrect size radiator and does not leave room for the radiator and the engine fan to both fit. So currently the fan is not mounted to the engine but I do have the fan. This is a easy fix if you locate the correct radiator or modifying the current radiator to fit so that you can mount fan. The truck has all parts that go to it. I even have a few extra parts that my uncle had for the truck. Fully restored this could be a $80,000+ truck at the right auction on the right day. The only modification done on this truck I believe was the added A/C system that works also. When the restoration was done in the 90's he did not spare a penny. The pictures do not do justice you definitely need to see this hard find in person. Please bid with confidence. Hard find and a good buy don't come everyday. My loss is your gain. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact me. The truck needs to go to a good home where it can be restored and appreciated. Thanks for bidding.
