Description for Chevrolet Other Pickups 1954

1954 pickup with 1952 front clip. Body has new fire wall and new floor. Patch panels welded in both corners and bottom of doors, so the body is completely rust free. All the fenders are in excellent condition. Running boards are new. The original pickup bed and panels have been replaced with all new panels and the bed is new solid oak. (See picture - bed not installed). I don't have a tailgate. Hood has six rows of louvers and is in OK shape. Front grill was sand blasted and primed but has some small rusted out places.
The body sits on a Chevy S10 chassis. Disc brakes up front with drum brakes in the rear. New gas tank and all new gas pickup and sending unit. Master break cylinder and power booster is a new Flaming River unit. (Gas lines and break lines are not installed yet). The steering column is also Flaming River.
The engine is a 455 for Pontiac. It is bored 30 thousand over, has roller rockers, duel quad intake (Edlebrock 750 cfm carbs), Hooker headers and the heads are set up to run on pump gas. I have a new "Painless" 18 circuit universal wire harness that is not installeed. The transmission is a turbo 350. The rear axle is a 12 bolt positration, also pontiac.
Wheels and tires are new 15 inch.. I also have a pair of power bucket seats from a 2006 Pontiac GTO.
