Description for Chevrolet C-10 1966
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1966 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck for purchase. This C10 is powered by a Chevy V8 that features an Edelbrock carburetor and is mated to an automatic transmission. The engine and transmission are both strong and in good working condition. The exterior of the truck has been repainted and is finished in a white over gold two-tone paint. To add some style to the truck, chrome trim is featured around the exterior. The... wheels are a beautiful chrome dish style and are wrapped in BF Goodrich radial tires. A major highlight of this truck is the beautiful wooden bed that appears to have just been refinished. On the interior, the bench seat has been replaced with a tan leather and cloth two-tone seat that is in spectacular condition. Though the steering wheel shows some wear, the rest of the interior is in great shape. There is an aftermarket audio and radio system that makes driving the truck more enjoyable. Mechanically the truck is in good condition. These first generation C/K series pickups introduced a new body style of light pick-up truck that featured many firsts. Most important of these were a drop-center ladder frame, allowing the cab to sit lower, and independent front suspension, giving an almost car-like ride in a truck. Gone were the days of the truck just being a bench seat and a flat-bed for the farm. These trucks provided the driveability the market was looking for and sales took off. In the collector world, these trucks keep growing in popularity as finding bodies still intact is becoming more and more difficult.
