THERE IS A SLIDESHOW WITH MORE DETAILED PICS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS AUCTION *** 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS. 2dr Sport Coupe Hardtop. Original Ermine White with red vinyl bucket seats. Automatic. Made in Atlanta. GA. Came with Push Button Radio and Rear Manual Antenna options. I believe this car originally came with a 327 V8. What I believe to be the original 327 valve covers and 4bbl intake will come with the car. The engine that is in the car is NOT original. It is a 1982 305ci engine and it does NOT turn over by hand. But it is not rusted out upon looking at it. Still. it will have to be rebuilt or replaced. I don't know anything about the transmission. Could be original. Could not be. It currently has power steering but it is not original to the car I don't believe. The body on this car is pretty straight. The areas of concern would be the trunk weatherstrip channels and rear trunk deck panel. They will have to be replaced. You can order the sheet metal patches online. The quarters and rockers look decent but the car has been repainted at least once. maybe twice. so I'm not really sure what got covered up. The fenders look pretty good. They will need to be patched at the very bottom. And the front of the passenger side got bent up under the car and will need to be pulled out a bit. (see the pics). The hood looks decent but the trunk lid will need to be either patched on the underneath or replaced. The doors are good. All of the glass and stainless is good. It will need two long front floor pans and trunk spare tire patch panel. All of this can be ordered online. The rest of the trunk can be welded up or patched with small pieces. The bumpers are missing. Just a really solid 1964 Impala SS with an engine to work with in a great color combo. This car would be beautiful when restored.
